6 Easy Dieting tips to help you get Six Pack Abs and Lean Out Fast
http://bradscottfitness.myvi.net Here are some dieting tips I came up with to help get you lean and ripped for summer. Let's face it, everyone wants to look great by the pool with their shirt off. Just follow these short simple steps for months and show dedication, and you will get the results you are looking for. A healthy diet with a good workout program can do wonders as long as you do them both on a daily basis. If you have any questions feel free to message me.
Step 1 : Eat more frequently throughout the day Now a lot of people say to eat 4-6 meals throughout the day but we all know that with work and school it is sometimes hard to find the time to have a full meal so what I do is eat 3 main meals and then have 3 snacks in between those meals.
Snacks can include : Vegitables, fruit, yogurt, protein shakes
What this does is increases your metablolic rate so you are burning more calories throughout the day
Step 2 : Eat some form of protein with every meal Some good sources of protein that I eat are chicken,cottage cheese, turkey, tuna, eggs, salmon, talapia, and protein shakes. Protein helps support muscle growth and the more muscle you build the faster you burn calories and the faster you will lose weight.
Step 3 : Drink more water By drinking water you are will not be getting any liquid calories which is good because it cuts down your overall calorie count. And if you are trying to lean out you don't need any extra calories from drinks when you can just be drinking water and it will also help you feel more full which will make you want to eat less.
Step 4 : NO JUNK FOOD Junk food has a lot of calories from fat and sugar and sure it might be short term pleasure but it will set you back in the long run and make you unhappy. Its shirt tem pleasure VS Long term gain. When I first started out with working out I didn't concentrate on my diet as much and I lost out on a lot of great gains I could have been making just because I wanted that short term pleasure of having a breakfast sandwhich from McDonnalds. So by eliminating junk food you will make your body perfom better and lean up and if you really stay dedicated to it you will see a huge difference in your abs and overall muscle tone.
Step 5: If you can kill it or pick it EAT IT A Great saying to live by that relates to step 4 is that if you can kill it or pick it you should eat it. Which means if you could go out and kill like an animal(MEAT) or pick it like vegitables and fruit chances are it will be healthy for you and much better than processed foods.
Step 6: Eliminate Grains or only eat them on days you are doing heavy lifting Grains like breat and pasta will set you back if you are trying to lose weight and get lean but they do have a lot of energy in them so only eat them on days that you are doing heavy lifting or hard workouts so you burn off the calories from the carbs you are taking in.
If you live by these simple 6 steps you will find yourself losing weight, leaning up and your abs will eventually start to show. Its all about living a healthy lifestyle and treating your body like an exotic car. Your not going to put 87 octane fuel in a ferrari so dont put junk food into your body.
