5 out of 5 stars Great taste
by Joe B on 3/30/2008
These taste much better than I thought for powdered eggs. Just don't overcook them. Keep them just slightly moist. Then I spray "I can't believe it's not butter" spray on them. Taste great!

5 out of 5 stars A nice change from cereal
by Tish on 5/11/2008
I got a packet as a free sample. It was delicious and a nice change from oatmeal or a shake in the morning. I slightly over cooked mine but it was still great!

5 out of 5 stars I LOVE this
by Kathy on 6/10/2008
I LOVE this. They cook up really fast so watch that they don't overcook (they can get rubbery). Use a little less water if you want them a little softer (like real eggs). The bottom line is, I really like them and could eat them every morning!

5 out of 5 stars Quite filling
by Carol Avant on 6/13/2008
Okay, so it's not quite as "fluffy" as the real thing, but the taste is great and it is quite filling.

5 out of 5 stars Not bad at all
by LovesBreakfast on 12/25/2008
I was pleasantly surprised. I'm a breakfast lover (eggs!) and these, plus two slices of Weight Watchers bread for 1 point, do the trick.

I cook these stove top. Look, they're not the real thing and they won't be like a restaurant omelette. But they're definitely a palatable substitute that won't make you feel totally deprived.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome!
by Ser on 11/4/2009
I was very surprised how good this is! These are awesome and I would recommend them to others. I will be ordering this again :) Makes for a filling and yummy breakfast!

5 out of 5 stars Tasty, satisfying
by MK on 1/16/2010
I use two packets of eggs to make dinner. Powder goes into a bowl; add 6 oz water, and whisk or stir with fork for at least a minute to rid it of lumps. I cook 30 sec, stir; 30 more sec, stir; final 30 seconds results in tender custard omelette. Usually use taragon with salt and pepper; slathered in ketchup also great.

5 out of 5 stars Surprised
by LovesChips on 1/25/2011
I was surprised at how good and filling this was. There was a bigger portion size than the WonderSlim eggs. I like having variety in my breakfasts, and this helps.

5 out of 5 stars Pretty tasty
by SusieQ on 3/2/2011
Easy to prepare. As close to real eggs as possible. No aftertaste.

5 out of 5 stars Is this really "diet" food?
by on 3/27/2011
Fast and easy and surprisingly satisfying.

5 out of 5 stars Great taste and texture.
by JAG on 6/20/2011
Great taste. Actually tasted like real eggs and has great texture. Won't miss having real eggs.

5 out of 5 stars Tasty and Satisfying
by on 7/8/2011
I was really surprised with the omeletes. They actually are tasty and filling. I do prefer them in the microwave and just remember do not over cook them. Granted it's not ihop but that's probably why most of us are on this plan now. Highly recommended for that something different in the am.

5 out of 5 stars Love This
by Shark on 9/13/2011
Love this product. I add allot of veggies to it and more then a handful of Jalapenos and still has a wonderful bacon flavor to it. It is my #1 food choice for breakfast. I will continue to buy this product. (Updated on 9/14/2011.)

5 out of 5 stars This product did not disappoint
by Peace77 on 10/7/2011
I was really surprised at how good these omelets taste. The powdered eggs I had when I was younger were awful. The best part for me is that they don't stick to my pan like real eggs. The key when cooking on the stove is not to cook them more than a couple of minutes. Otherwise they will be rubbery. I will definitely be ordering more. (Updated on 10/8/2011.)

5 out of 5 stars Shocked how good they are!
by SIVB on 12/17/2011
Ok, I know I'm on a diet, but wow, these eggs definitely have great flavor. I was not expecting them to taste as good as they did. I know when I am mixing my food, the smell can be a turn off, but the taste of the products is way different. I had low expectations of powdered food, and was expecting them to be different than the real thing; honestly after I get to my goal weight, I will keep these on hand.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome with Vegetables
by alphabetsoup on 3/13/2012
I was skeptical about this product, but it is actually really good. I like to cook it with some fresh vegetables to make it seem like a real omelet. It tastes good and has the same consistency of scrambled eggs.

5 out of 5 stars With a little tweaking, they're GREAT!!
by Quira1962 on 4/9/2012
At first, I found them to be a little rubbery, but then decided to add 1/4 cup of egg whites (30 calories, 7 protein), along with 1/3 cup of water. This small addition made such a big difference that you would not even know you were eating powdered egg mix. Then to add a little variety and flavour, I added chopped onion, colored bell peppers, and a little salt and black pepper. I'm telling you, you won't be able to tell the difference. Try adding mushrooms, and other vegetables you may prefer to make it your own. Enjoy!

5 out of 5 stars Love these!
by km on 5/22/2012
Tastes great and makes a wonderful breakfast. Takes less than a minute to cook and just as good as the real thing.

5 out of 5 stars Bacon & Cheese Omelette
by Kathy on 11/12/2013
I actually really love these - the hint of bacon makes me VERY happy! :) I actually do this quite a bit for dinner for a change of pace, & like it as well as breakfasts on the weekend. I would have to say only do it stovetop - the first time I tried it I microwaved it & it was not so good... I've done it as an omelette & as scrambled eggs & loved it both ways. Really good adding veggies, too.

5 out of 5 stars Best Omelette I've tried
by Sheila on 1/14/2017
It has a good flavor I was quite surprised and ordered more. I had some trouble cooking it in the skillet it was taking quite awhile to firm up so ended up scrambling it, it is small so I added a side of fruit and veggies and was perfect.

4 out of 5 stars Very good
by Francesca Russell on 2/17/2008
This was very good. The first time I cooked it too long and was rubbery; the second time I cooked it a minute less and it was great

4 out of 5 stars Excellent Egg's
by Rachel on 2/8/2011
These taste great to me! I've found I can make the eggs fluffier if I add just a little bit more water than what is recommended. They are also great with a little cottage cheese added in the middle.

4 out of 5 stars I was surprised!
by Carole on 4/8/2011
I thought they would be gross, but I was surprised. Really quite good!!

4 out of 5 stars Super Filling Breakfast!
by Tara P. on 3/1/2012
These eggs made a tasty and VERY filling breakfast with lots of protein and LOW calories. I think I cooked them a bit too long, which was clearly a mistake which I will rectify next time around. But, they did NOT stick to my omelet pan and folded up nicely. I withheld one star because, while the bacon flavor was evident, the cheesiness was not.

4 out of 5 stars Bacon and cheese omelet
by Pjmsplace on 5/11/2012
Some omelets are like cardboard but this one was better than some.

Flavor was ok. Just don't over cook in the microwave or it gets a little tough

But it was good.

4 out of 5 stars Very filling
by VT on 5/17/2012
I must say this is the only protein item I have tried where you immediately feel full after eating it! Truly pleased with that. The taste seems a little "processed" - maybe its the bacon flavor, but OK enough for me to order again.

4 out of 5 stars good for what it is...
by audra on 8/14/2012
This was good for a quick take to work kind of breakfast. I thought it tasted good but not enough bacon and cheese flavor for my taste. But over all I need things that I can store in my work desk and cook easily in a microwave at work so this makes for a pleasant change from usual protein bar type breakfast.

4 out of 5 stars liked it
by john on 10/3/2013
will buy it again

4 out of 5 stars Really Good
by Jerry on 11/10/2013
These diet omelets are among my favorite. I also usually add a few veggies and a splash of.egg whites to make them better.

4 out of 5 stars Really nice
by Kim on 1/3/2014
OK - so mine looked NOTHING like the picture on the box even though I cooked it on the stove. But, that said, it tasted really nice. The bacon is there, but not overwhelming. And they didn't put in a bunch of "artificial smoke" flavoring to try to fool you. If you've tried the MF eggs, don't worry, these are MUCH better. I'll be back for more.

4 out of 5 stars Have not officially started my diet yet
by Cynthia on 3/1/2014
Had one - but am not able to purchase other grocery store foods for my diet yet- will officially start my diet on April the 12th- but it was very good, larger than expected and quite filling!

4 out of 5 stars good
by Pamela on 1/14/2015
It was good. A change up for breakfast.

4 out of 5 stars This is delicious. Just add 1/4 cup frozen onion and peppers.
by PAMELA on 7/31/2015
This is delicious. I have a bag of frozen onion and peppers, add about 1/4 cup to the mix and cook on the stove in a single egg fry pan. Could not taste any better than the real thing.

3 out of 5 stars Good but...
by Bonita on 2/19/2008
Tastes good, but texture is somewhat rubbery.

3 out of 5 stars ProtiDiet Omelette
by kissy on 1/3/2009
they are ok, something i wont buy again kinda taste like rubbery soy or somthing and i dont like the way they smell but, if ur a egg lover and love eggs alot then i guess they are ok to get....maybe.

3 out of 5 stars Careful on the way you cook it!
by Butch on 5/17/2009
The first attempt at cooking this was not so good, bordering on terrible...I did the stovetop method and let it cook too long (like an omelette). It turned out like styrofoam. The second time, I did the microwave method, and it was better, but still cooked it a little too long. The 3rd and subsequent times, I cooked it shorter, and stopped and stirred frequently. Much better. Good with some tobasco or calorie free ketchup.

Careful cooking and leave it on the runny side for better flavor, otherwise, it's like tender cardboard.

3 out of 5 stars Not bad
by MsK on 11/14/2009
I would recommend this, but I would clarify that you can't expect it to taste like regular eggs. With saying that, they aren't bad. My husband puts salsa on them. I really watch them cooking, so they don't become rubbery and dry. They taste better a little on the watery side actually. Nice change from cereal or oatmeal in the morning. Add some chives or onions, parsley, salt and pepper.

3 out of 5 stars Impressive
by Alice on 6/19/2011
It is actually quite good!! I found it difficult to cook in a pan, but the microwave version works pretty well, and the taste is really not bad!

Definitely the best of all protein omelets I have ever tried...

ProtiDiet Bacon & Cheese Omelette Mix

3 out of 5 stars Okay
by on 1/12/2012
For me, these eggs are just okay. The taste isn't bad and I like the convenience and the high protein; however, the seasonings don't exactly soften so there are crunchies in the finished product.

3 out of 5 stars Not Bad
by CNC Sid on 2/29/2012
I really enjoy adding an Egg, Onions, Green Peppers. It is not bad by itself either.

3 out of 5 stars A little dry
by osubunch on 8/9/2012
These aren't bad but tend to be a little dry. Much better when adding stir fried vegetables.

3 out of 5 stars ProtiDiet Bacon and Cheese Omelette
by Brigitte on 4/12/2013
This product tasted better than the vegetable omelette, but I was not impressed.

2 out of 5 stars OK - but very SMALL meal!...
by Mary Lu on 1/7/2014
OK - but very SMALL meal! I added veggies to bulk it up but so small probably won't order these again.

1 out of 5 stars No-go
by kacey on 12/21/2011
Vile, have no idea how to use the rest of the box. Sorry.

1 out of 5 stars nasty nasty
by Tanya on 3/18/2013
Should have known better. The fake bacon and cheese flavour left a nasty chemical taste. Would have much preferred to have regular powdered eggs and added my own spices.

1 out of 5 stars Horrible
by Judith on 1/14/2015
When I ordered these my thought was "anything with bacon will be good" will I was wrong. These are horrible. I tried adding ham to it but nothing seemed to help.
