Directions
Microwave Directions
- Combine the contents of one packet and 5 ounces of HOT water in a microwave safe bowl. Stir thoroughly.
- Microwave on HIGH (100%) for 3 minutes; stir.
- Continue cooking on HIGH (100%) for 2 to 4 minutes or until thick consistency. (Microwave ovens vary; adjust time as needed.)
Stove-Top Directions
- Combine the contents of one packet and 5 ounces of HOT water in a saucepan. Stir thoroughly.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 6 to 8 minutes or until thickened, stirring frequently.

I liked this product, but it felt a little bit like it needed...something else. If you’re used to a bun with your sloppy joe, it won’t satisfy you as much (especially if you’re like me and prefer the bread to the meat!). However, I would recommend it.

I make this and add lettuce and tomatoes on top. Sometimes I eat it with low calorie bread or half of a hamburger bun. Very filling as well. Makes it seem like you're eating normal food.

Loved the taste. I used this product on rice cauliflower. Only problem is that it contains way to much sodium for my diet.

My favorite. I put it on a bed of spinach. I have now started adding it to the tomato soup. I'm not fond of the tomato soup by itself but with Vegan Joe added, YUM.
