Chicken Noodle has Great Flavorby Julie on 2/25/2008The chicken noodle soup has great flavor and is very satisfying.
These Soups are very good!by Melanie on 7/12/2008Soups are very good! Tomato is creamy and has a great flavor, I added half water and half 2% milk, makes it even creamier. Try the same with creamy chicken, you'll love it!
Good but slow..by Mandycakes on 9/14/2008The chicken noodle is pretty good to have come from a mix. just tried the minestrone and it was decent after it cooked but it took a very long time like 8 min in the microwave and with my schedule i dont have time to wait that long.
I'm pleasedby Melissa on 11/21/2008Surprisingly, not bad. I've only tried the Creamy Tomato and was pleased. I add cooked shimp or chicken and more veggies, (mushrooms, tomatoes, onion, broccoli). Livens up the usual stirfried chicken and veggies!
Tomato Soupby Kazoo Gal on 12/4/2008I really like the tomato soup. In fact, I eat it for lunch practically every day, along with some vegetables and a couple of rice cakes. I am not a fan of the other soups that I tried, though (cream of chicken, chicken noodle). To each her (or his) own, as I see others hate the tomato soup but love the others! (Updated on 12/5/2008.)
Tasty Soupby Denise on 5/1/2009The soup taste great when made on the stove top and if you let it sit covered for about ten minutes the noodles come out soft.
Good Stuffby S.L.P on 9/13/2009I ordered the Chicken & Vegetable Cream, it is very good..plus the price is great..I used to purchase this product from PWLC at a much higher price...same product, just diffrent packaging.
Love this soup!by cparis05 on 9/13/2009This soup is good anytime if the day! The flavor is very full unlike other cup of soups the sodium is limited or none at all. I actually drink mine on my way to work in the mornings. I have tried others and paid 16.00 a box (ouch)by far this is the best product for the price.
Chicken & Vegetable Creamby Linda W. on 2/11/2010The Chicken & Vegetable Cream soup is the only one I tried from this company. I really love the flavor and texture of this soup. I cook it on the stove top and pour it into a mug to drink it. I like a few oyster crackers on the side.
Mmmm Good!by lugsma on 3/21/2010First off in general, the Wonderslim products are WONDERFUL! Yes, there is always a personal taste bud issue, but overall...Wonderslim is GREAT! (especially if you've ever done Medifast..yuk!) The chicken noodle is very tasty, no doctoring necessary. It does have a tendency to lump while heating but that's easy enough to break up/stir in and then you have a tasty bowl of Chicken Noodle! I am a Tomato soup lover and thought I'd give it a shot, I saw that it had mixed reviews....I tried it, and it's Mmmm Good!! Not as thick as what you may be used to, but it is creamy and the flavor is there! If you like Tomato soup I say give it a try!
Fantastic for what I use it for!by SuzieQ on 1/14/2011The chicken & vegetable cream soup is wonderful when used as a coating for your chicken. I pour the dry soup mix in a large plastic baggie, add chicken breast cutlets, and shake, shake, shake. Then I just spray a little olive oil spray in a stove top pan and cook until perfectly tender and yummy!
What a difference it makes. :-)
Shockingly Goodby Bgregus on 1/19/2011I have only tried 1 other packaged/meal replacement diet and that was Ideal Protein but I've done plenty of diets. I barely made it through 2 weeks with IP and thought never again. I was researching WonderSlim and figured I could get through 2 weeks for a jump start.
The WonderSlim meals are SO much better and the plan works way better for me, I have no intention of stopping in 2 weeks. Packaged diets/meal replacements can be a boon to your weight loss efforts and so far, in 5 days, I've lost 2 pounds and it is very hard for me to drop weight. I'm LOVIN the food and the program. It's so easy and as an added bonus, affordable. I was never one to do meal replacements and it is fabulous!
Excellent Soupsby pshort on 1/24/2011These soups (tomato and chicken noodle) are delicious and quite filling. Recommend these to everyone.
Amazingby LovesChips on 1/25/2011Okay, now that I've tried all three soups, I will say this much. I love the chicken & vegetable cream and the tomato best. The chicken noodle was okay, but it was hard to get the lumps out. Once I did, though, the taste was good and sweet. I have put Tabasco sauce in all three to enhance the flavor. All in all, these are good, and I'm shocked at how 8 ounces of anything can fill you up when you sip on it slowly. It seems to take forever to finish, too. I like that!
I put my soups in a 12-oz mug, and it makes it seem like there is a ton of stuff to drink when there isn't. It is all in your mind...the bigger the plate/cup/bowl, the more you'll eat. I felt so full at lunch today that I almost forgot about my snack bar, and believe me, those are too good to forget about :-) I'm loving this diet for the most part!
Chicken and Vegetable Creamby Amanda on 3/3/2011I actually received this as a sample with my other food. Surprisingly, its a lot tastier and better than I thought it would be! I am not a big soup person but I could eat this all day, every day! Its also so easy to make, you just add hot water! mmmm :)
Meh.by mkejake on 3/9/2011I would recommend all the soups except for the tomato. I did have to choke that down. But when I added some salt, it was much more palatable.
The others, well, they're diet soup. I don't expect much from them, but a little more flavor would be nice.
All the soups stay kind of chunky though. Something to work on.
Tastes greatby drh on 4/18/2011I have tried the chicken noodle and the chicken/vegetable cream. Both are good, the chicken noodle is broth based rather than creamy like ch/veg cream. They can clump but when I whisk while adding water, they turn out fine. These are low carb and hit the spot when I want something salty (as opposed to shakes and bars). I do usually add black pepper, onion/garlic powder, and a little siracha.
Chicken Noodle Soupby Lilli on 6/19/2011This soup is great. After you get it ready let it sit for awhile. Reheat and enjoy. If you have any cooked chicken just break or cut into small pieces and add it to the soup. Sometimes I add vegetables to my soup.
WS Chicken Noodle Soupby Barry A. on 7/9/2011This is a very good tasting soup. Not sure why the previous commenters don't care for it. This is not going to be gourmet soup people. Get that thought out of your heads before writing a review. It has just the right amount of salt and taste. Yes, it does clump a little at the top during dissolving but I find if you add an extra ounce of water that takes care of the clumping! I recommend this soup to anyone on this plan!
Love love loveby Ana on 9/29/2011I absolutely loved the taste of this soup, very satisfying and love that it has good protein amount. Will definitely buy again.
Easy, fast, warm, satisfying, high protein AND Tasty!by RockyMtnFae on 10/18/2011I was searching around online for some high protein/low carb instant diet soups, found this site and ordered 4 different kinds. I am very pleased! I got chicken noodle and chicken & vegetable cream and two others not listed in this review area. I don't like tomato soup in general, so didn't try, and can't comment, but am very happy with these other two! I am going to order more today. I am going to lose the weight "this time" and so far these soups are really helping! I am such a weakling when it comes to not eating, but these soups are fast to make, and very tasty! They are also very filling, so I am not only satisfied for the moment, but have bumped up my protein, while keeping the bad carbs away, and am no longer feeling like I have to eat something afterward.
Perfect for a quick lunchby Bubbe B on 10/31/2011I just tried the cream of tomato soup and love it. Makes me feel like a kid again when my dad was in charge of lunch for us, it was usually bologna sandwiches and cream of tomato soup. Perfect for lunch on the go, just toss in my purse and ask for a cup of hot water and a side salad. I like to add a pinch of horseradish to spice it up. Will be ordering this and the cream of chicken and vegetable again and again. Just a an additional note, I whisk a paste together with a few tablespoons of water, a fork and the powder, then I add the rest of the boiling water and the soup usually comes out nice and smooth. Updated on 11/1/2011.)
Where do they hide the protein?by Cheekie on 11/5/2011This soup tastes great on its own, but I purposely purchased it to use it as a base. I saute a little celery, onion, carrot and garlic to give it a little more body, and season it with curry powder. To me, that is DELISH and high-protein to boot. But I really can't figure out where they hide the protein? You could add different veggies too--it doesn't take much to make it feel like you're eating something of substance.
good "calorie buy"by msmary on 11/7/2011I'm always looking for high protein-low calorie foods. These soups fill the bill. I think they taste better than the other soup brand and seem to mix easier. I often have them for breakfast as I don't like anything heavy in the am.
Enjoyableby Betrimsoon on 11/7/2011I enjoy the chicken and noodle soup. It is lower in calories and nice to have when I want a higher calorie WS dessert in the evening. So it helps to balance things out. If you want a little more with it, I pour it over shredded lettuce and add a touch of soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce. But it is good like it is. Be sure to let it sit a few minutes for the noodles to become fully "cooked" or re-hydrated.
Chicken Soup for the Soulby debclark on 12/1/2011I really love the flavor of the chicken soups, I throw in a handful of fresh baby spinach....it adds an extra 2 grams of protein and only 20 additional calories. I love it so much, I eat it for breakfast...yum!!!
Surprisingly Filling!by CAvant on 12/1/2011These high-protein soups are not only tasty, but surprisingly filling! They are an integral part of my diet plan that keeps me very satisfied until my afternoon snack!
Yummyby Susan on 1/13/2012I like both of the chicken flavors. Tastes just like cup-o-soup to me. They don't have the odd, soy taste that the Medifast soups have. They are low cal enough to make an excellent base for a heartier soup by adding veggies and chicken meat.
The tomato, on the other hand is a fail. It just didn't taste good. I tried to doctor it up with different spice profiles, etc. Still bleh, lol. I thin the Vegetarian Joe with more water than directed when I want a tomato soup.
Soup was very satisfying!by Gabygal on 1/24/2012I tried the Chicken Noodle from the "Try Me" box--it was OK. I made it straight from the box--next time I'll try oriental seasoning. But the Chicken & Vegetable Cream was great! It is so versatile. I've pureed vegetables--cauliflower, broccoli--and made great soups! Makes a filling lunch!
WS Chicken noodle soupby on 2/19/2012This is a really good soup. I add just a dash of cheese to it, or couple Croutons, or Saltine crackers, the unsalted top ones. Sometimes I have it for breakfast and it's great for night-time hungers. (Updated on 2/20/2012.)
Great Soupby Nicole on 2/24/2012The Chicken & Vegetable Cream soup is FIRE!!! I'll definitely buy more.
Chicken w/ Noodles is the bomb!by kathilynne32 on 3/5/2012I don't know how a little cup of chicken w/ noodle soup can be so filling & satisfying but this little number really does the trick. It tastes rich & one packet keeps me satisfied until dinner. This is something I never let myself run out of.
What a great soupby nelb on 4/10/2012This is a great soup! It has all the flavor you could want in a noodle soup. I love it.
Love it!by Deb on 4/27/2012Love this tomato soup, great taste and fills you up even more than the shakes do. I use a mini whisk to stir it which solves the problem of the lumps that can occur otherwise.
Chicken cream soupby Celeste on 10/1/2012I love this soup so much and look forward to eating it.
Yum!!by Alex on 10/19/2012I tried the chicken noodle soup... I didn't think it would be filling, but it was very satisfying. I am looking forward to trying the others.
Quick and easyby TC on 10/29/2012If you like powdered soups, then you will love these. I am one of those that really like them. They are extremely easy, and taste good.
Love this soup!by PMA on 3/3/2013My husband even has this soup with me in the afternoon between lunch and dinner. The flavor is really good!
reminds me of being a kid againby Nicole on 8/4/2013Taste just like chicken soup I ate when I was a kid
high protein - low carb!by Duane on 8/15/2013Good flavor. Satisfying amount of protein. Low on the carbs so I don't get quickly hungry. I do wish it had some more either good fat or good protein calories so it could be considered a meal replacement.
Liked the Chicken Noodleby Stephanie on 8/24/2013Really liked the chucken noodles soup. Tasted pretty much like cup o soup. I dI'd add some salt and red pepper flakes to it. I cooked on the stove and had no problem with lumps. Will buy this again!
Fabulous WS chicken w noodlesby Charlene on 1/9/2014Love it hot. Takes a bit to disolve, well worth the stir/wait. Nice before a salad, or as a snack. Cold weather and chicken noodle soup - wonderful combination. :)
Fabulous chicken with noodles soup!by Charlene on 1/16/2014The W.S. chicken with noodles soup is tastey, and filling. I make it very hot, mix it well - and enjoy! It has no after taste, feels like I'm eating a true 'Comfort Food' without all the bad for me stuff.
goodby Janet on 3/27/2014Love the chicken noodle soup . Comfort food
Tastes goodby Tammy on 7/22/2014Tastes good and only 70 calories a serving! Sodium is a little high so I didnt add anything to it ;)
Chicken Soup with Noodlesby Rozalind on 11/1/2015I love having this on hand during the cooler weather. So easy to grab when I need something warm to hold in my hand and eat.
My favorite WS soupby Jane on 1/25/2017I double the hot water and make it in a huge cup at work. Fills you up and tastes very good. Yes it's mostly broth but it's also high protein so the fullness stays will you longer.
I love these in the winter timeby tina on 8/10/2017nice smooth filling high protein easier to get the protein in , great for cool or winter nights or for lunch,
definitely will buy againby Molly on 2/24/2008I tried the cream of chicken today. This was a nice change for lunch. The soup is pretty flavorful, yet is hard to mix well. I will definitely buy again and am looking forward to the other flavors.
Chicken noodleby Bill on 2/5/2009This had a good flavor and I recommend it.
Great chicken soup!by Joanie on 7/15/2009All of your soups are great; it has a nice creamy texture and some vegetables, although not as good as the chicken with noodles. I use this everyday at lunch, with a little protein and a bar and it's plenty of food, who says you need a huge salad to get full?!
Good Productby pvl on 1/19/2010Good taste.
Tomato Soupby Pam P. on 1/23/2010Creamy Tomato is the only one I tried so far. All by itself, doesn't taste much like real tomato soup, but after I tried adding 1/2 tsp of Better than Bouillon vegetable base (adds 10 calories), squeeze the juice of half a lemon, and mill a little pepper into the cup, it tastes MUCH more like Campbell's tomato soup.
Nice tasteby justme on 5/10/2010I tried the chicken noodle and the cream of chicken with vegetables. Both have good flavor. Unfortunately they are very high in sodium. I followed directions exactly for the chicken noodle and the pasta was raw.
I'll reorder the cream of chicken. (Updated on 5/11/2010.)
pretty goodby carold on 6/13/2010Taste was good but thought the noodles were a little sparse. I like the bean and vegetable better. (Updated on 6/14/2010.)
Chicken Noddleby AshLand on 1/16/2011The chicken noodle is amazing.. although I agree is has very few noodles or veggies, but for most the flavor is out of the world.. I could eat it every day.. (Updated on 1/17/2011.)
Dissolvability needs workby Charley on 3/27/2011I always liked the Chicken & Noodle soup the best. Recently it seems to be harder to dissolve and tends to clump at the top of cup. Aside from that it is tasty and filling.
Tasty Chicken Noodleby LAG on 6/8/2011I very much like the chicken noodle soup; it tastes like the real thing. It's low sodium, but just enough to make it tasty and not flat.
I haven't tried the other soups yet.
Great With Hot Sauceby Mel on 6/10/2011I really like all of the soups, no real favorite. I add Texas Pete hot sauce to my soups and love it.
Taste is amazing, but...by KittyW on 10/1/2011The cream of chicken and noodle soups taste amazingly good, but I could never get them to dissolve completely. I used boiling water and stirred forever, but I still had lumps and a very hard to remove film on the bowl. I'm going to try microwaving in addition to the boiling water, but we'll see. But they really are some of the best tasting instant soups I've ever tried.
Very good soup!by LZ on 10/8/2011This soup is very good. There is not a whole lot in it but for the 15g of protein, you can't beat it! Would definitely recommend it.
Good Tomato Soupby Limi on 11/10/2011I add tomato's to it and some basil, its not as good as Campbell's tomato, but good for a low calorie, high protein soup
Protein soup mixby nonie on 12/13/2011I have tried the chicken and vegetable flavor. It has lots of flavor and is filling. Will order it again. It is the best of this type of product I have tried. (Updated on 12/14/2011.)
I Love These Soups - Especially Chicken Vegetableby TRobbins on 1/18/2012I really do enjoy these soups, thoroughly. They are filling, economical, and I believe they have great taste. I especially am a huge fan of the chicken vegetable one. On a cold winter's day, the soups along with some toasted diet bread really do hit the spot and I find myself least hungry in the afternoon when I've eaten one of the soups.
The only possible complaint I could have is the dissolving of the soup. There are times that no matter how hot the water is, or how much I stir, it doesn't all dissolve. But I really enjoy, and have already recommended to friends to purchase.
Chicken Soup With Noodlesby missmary on 2/2/2012Very tasty and easy to have for lunch at the office- especially on a cold day.
Good for what it isby madmit on 4/9/2012This is not a gourmet or delicious soup, but it's very good for what it is. And it was very filling, surprisingly. What I did to get rid of the lumps was heat up my water, put in the soup packet and put the little wire whisk thing from the blender bottles into my mug of soup and mixed it all with a spoon and all of the lumps came right out.
Good...by audra on 8/14/2012As a WLS patient, I thought this was a good way to get in some protein when I want to eat light. I sometimes mix this with a packet of lipton cup of soup if I want a bigger amount of soup. It tastes good.
Chicken noodle soup-I'll buy againby NeeCee on 8/14/2012Taste as good as not diet but not many noodles
Satisfyingby Diana on 8/15/2012The flavor of the soup is good; cream soup makes it more filling somehow. The lumps are hard to dissolve. Cooking it on low on the stove while stirring seems to help.
Quick and easyby Donielle on 7/2/2013Makes a good mug of soup and is really low in calories and carbs. It's best to really whisk it and have your water super hot.
Better than the cream of chickenby Emily on 10/12/2013I agree it's a little like cup of soup - a little watery but tasty. And I was surprised to find it filled me up. Recommend!
chicken noddle soupby diana on 10/17/2014it great on a cold day
Nice soup to have aroundby Noxie on 4/16/2015I really did have to get used to this soup at first but once I did it is my go to soup. I prefer to add about 10 oz of water and soak for a few hours which make the noodles plump up and it takes a bit to get everything mixed in. You will get a weird film on the top of your cup when you do this but you can just stir it back into the soup without any problems. It has a chicken broth type flavor to it. It really helped me to stay on my weight loss program while I was sick.
Great on a cool summer day!by Jacqueline on 9/18/2016I tried this last week and really enjoyed it. I wish there were a few more noodles though. The calorie count is pretty low for a "meal" if you are using this as a substitute for Medi-Fast meals.
chicken noode soupby cheryl on 5/6/2017This soup is just what you need when you are drinking the pudding shakes . Rich and just enough salt .
I like some othersby Lisa on 4/1/2008Overall I thought the Chicken Noodle Soup wasn't that satisfying and it had a odd taste to me. There are other lunch type items that taste better. Liked the Nacho Pasta dish a little more than the soup.
Don't like the tomato soupby Angela on 8/17/2008Absolutely hated the tomato. Taste was poor and needed LOTS OF SEASONING TO MAKE IT REMOTELY PALATABLE! SKIP THE TOMATO, CREAM OF CHICKEN AND BEEF WERE VERY GOOD!
Warm and comfortingby Pat on 4/27/2009These soups are okay to break the low-carb boredom, and they are a warm and comforting snack. THey do have a processed, instant protein flavor to them. The tomato is good, the creamy chicken is good, but I don't care for the others. All the veggies in them stay hard, even if you nuke them a long time.
Good......But - what's the difference?by Stevi1123 on 11/15/2009I'd like to know the difference between the Chicken with Vegetable Cream soup and the Chicken soup. I ordered both, and they are IDENTICAL. I was quite disappointed, but only because I could have gotten another flavor at the time of ordering. I think Wonderslim or Diet Direct should resolve this problem, because it is very misleading. They are both the SAME.
Good flavor but...by on 1/24/2010This soup has a good taste but it leaves a filmy aftertaste in your mouth. I haven't tried any of the other soups but I'll give them a shot.
Vegetable Beam, Chicken & Veggie Creamby Claire on 2/5/2010The soups are just ok. Add some croutons and they are better. I love LOTS of food here, but the soups are not among my faves.
Difficult to get lumps outby Trishie on 2/15/2010The Chicken & Vegetable Cream is good. I added a tiny bit of chicken bouillon and Tabasco to enhance the flavor. My biggest problem is in the mixing. I cannot seem to get it not to lump up and that ruins the whole nice and creamy experience with this soup. I have to strain it every time I make it. But I'm not giving up because the soup is tasty. So, I'm on a quest to de-lump the soup. (Updated on 2/16/2010.)
