I'm not kidding - flavor is "off" and has a slightly sour hint. Added with the texture, it's like you're trying to re-choke down some vomit. Stick with the Maple & Brown Sugar flavor. It's great!

I LOVE the Bariwise oatmeals. At first I thought the texture was odd, but now I love how thick it is. It mixes great with blueberries, raspberries, peaches, apricots...especially the peach flavor. You could add extra cinnamon and apples to the apple cinnamon if you like. I really enjoy the maple and brown sugar without any additives. I've not tried the unflavored/regular oatmeal but plan to. I'm happy to have found a low calorie, low carb, and yet high protein meal. Sometimes I even crave this oatmeal for dinner.

Now that the weather is turning cooler, this is a great addition to my limited breakfast. The peach taste is great but the texture is a little different than what I'm used to. I make my own chunky applesauce, only apples and cinnamon, so I add 1/4 cup of applesauce to this. The flavor is great and it makes it a little more chunky. Good stuff!

Unfortunately not all the BariWise oatmeal products are equal. The Apples & Cinnamon and Maple & Brown Sugar are great. Yet this one, Peaches & Cream, has a pasty texture and lacks flavor.

This oatmeal is great! I like the apple and cinnamon too, but peach is my favorite. Definitely suggest microwave prep over boiling water method for the best texture. The portion is a bit smaller. If I am having it as a snack, a pouch is fine if I am having it for breakfast, I usually mix 2. But even with 2, it is only 180 calories and a whopping 30 grams of protein! For a little extra richness and flavor, after prepared (2 pouches) I stir in 1 TBL. Sugar free/fat free French vanilla coffee creamer. YUMMY!

Decided to try this - loved the peach flavor - I do not heat my oatmeal - just add cold water - good to go! Will order again -
