Best pancakesby JJam on 5/3/2012This is very tasty with a great consistency.
I add Walden Farms calories free(truly) pancake syrup, and I definitely don't feel deprived! Very satisfying
Very fillingby MJG on 2/24/2012These are great with a turkey sausage in it. Just like Mickey D's sandwich!!! Love it
Really Good!by D. Marie on 12/26/2011I eat these every morning with sugar free syrup. It's better than most other diet breakfast foods and it's low carb and has a lot of protein. It holds me until lunchtime. It makes a good snack too, especially if you want something warm in the winter.
Great tastingby dlou on 4/17/2011I love the plain pancakes. They have a sweet taste to them. I like the blueberry but it doesn't fit me as well. I would recommend both to friends but would HIGHLY recommend the plain pancakes.
You gotta be kidding me!by on 3/27/2011Great way to start your day, especially when covered in sugar free syrup. Tastes just like mom used to make.
Love these pancakesby Polly on 1/25/2011I add 2 tablespoons flaxseed to the packet...a touch more water than it calls for. Don't over stir them and definitely don't overcook. Yum.....my husband loves them too.
Wonderful!by vtxsue on 8/13/2009These pancakes are great! They already taste sweet, you don't need syrup. I make up a couple of batches and refridgerate them to nuke in the morning or to snack on during the day between meals. I've only tried the plain ones, but plan on trying the blueberry also.
Amazedby Justme on 8/7/2009I've been making pancakes with oatmeal from another meal replacement company having to add baking powder and egg replacement. This pancake is excellent! I added ff sf syrup and butter spray. I am sooo glad I decided to try these. I tried the plain only and I am starting to think I may be able to add some of my real food to it and make bread out of this mix....a sandwich! Thank you Diet Direct. I'm saving money and your products are so much better than MF.
pancakesby bean on 2/4/2009Good tasting and the right amount to eat. I am a diabetic and this food line is exactly what I am supposed to be eating.
A nice change of paceby Anne on 7/3/2008After having boiled eggs or diet cheese every morning for 2 months these pancakes are a nice way to feel like I'm eating a full breakfast instead of egg plus custard pudding. Great addition!!
Pancakes are great!by Tish on 6/23/2008These pancakes are great! I tried both flavors. I make them ahead of time and they freeze great also! A little sugar free syrup and some applesauce and they make a wonderful breakfast!
Make as a Delicious Belgian waffle!by Carol Avant on 6/13/2008These are great! I order a box of plain pancakes and can't wait to try the blueberry ones! Just for a change, I mixed up one packet with about 12 of the water, sprayed my Belgian waffle iron with butter flavor nonstick spray and Voila! Delicious, crispy Belgian waffle! Add a little sugarfree syrup and a few berries and enjoy!
Easy to prepare, good tasteby Melanie g on 4/29/2008These are EASY, low in calories, high in protein, and taste good. I add some frozen blueberries and 1 packet of Splenda for each packet of the mix. They are filling, and even portable.
love the blueberry flavor!by Joe B on 3/30/2008I love the blueberry flavor. I cook one large pancake in a nonstick pan and spray PAM on it. After it is cooked I put sugar free syrup on it and "I can't believe it's not butter" spray. Then I nuke it for another 30 seconds to warm up the syrup. Tastes great with a cup of coffee for breakfast.
Great tasting pancakesby Kim on 3/2/2008Overall, the best tasting food through a packet that is out there. I have been eating them everyday since I first tried them. I even have replaced pancakes for dinner. Would get plain over blueberry...
I love these!by Debbie on 2/29/2008I absolutely love these! I made them then used sugar free syrup and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Very low in calories and high in protein plus quite filling. I'll be ordering more again soon.
Perfect pancakesby Betsy on 2/9/2014I add either an egg white or a whole egg to the recipe and find the result to be delicious and filling. I expect that I'll continue to eat these even after I ready my goal.
protidiet pancakeby stardancer on 3/6/2014These are so good, you would not even be able to tell they are diet food. I have them almost every day for breakfast and they are very filling.
Not bad !by Cynthia on 4/29/2014Not bad at all. Just like a real pancake. Hope you only like one or two small ones.
As good asby Rita on 6/22/2015I love these pancakes as much as if not more than pancakes made from scratch or a mix. Just the right amount and great taste.
The best everby Rosie on 3/19/2016I love these pancakes. I have them every day. If I don't have them for breakfast, I'll have them as a snack at night. They are easy to prepare and taste great. I use sugar free syrup.
Good and easyby Steven on 4/4/2016Good to alternate with the blueberry pancake mix.
These are a stapleby Desiree on 7/1/2017These are my go to breakfast when I am not in a hurry. I add extra water to make them more like a crepe consistency and have 2 of them which are only 180 calories but a whopping 30 grams of protein. I then use low calorie syrup and feel very satisfied and satisfy that need for sweet. I usually order 4 boxes at a time. I would suggest making one, eating it, then making the other so it does not sit and get cold.
Pretty Good!by sas on 4/3/2012I really liked these. Easy to fix and tasteful along with sugar free maple syrup.
Delicious, filling and not soyby [email protected] on 10/23/2011I have these delicious pancakes every morning for breakfast and for snacks throughout the day. They are very filling. It's wonderful that they are not soy based because I need to limit my soy intake. I would recommend them as an important source of protein. However, I cook them my own way. I add two envelopes of pancake mix to 1/2 cup of water and stir thoroughly. I then cook them in a small teflon frying pan sprayed lightly with oil. After cooling, I cut it up in 4 pieces and put it in a plastic sandwich bag. I make up 7 or so pancakes at a time so I can have them when I want. Each pancake is 200 calories. Differentby shark on 9/13/2011Tasty with the blueberries, but I am still out with this one, Very small serving, and just cant get use to it when fully cooked still being whitish looking. But again tasty.
Blueberry pancakesby janniep on 6/15/2011The pancakes are thick and very tasty--especially with fresh blueberries on top!
Yummy!by kiki on 2/17/2009These cook up very fast and are a great treat any time of day with spray butter and sugar-free syrup. I've only tried the blueberry--it's yummy.
A good pancake replacementby BVK on 8/3/2013I make both the blueberry and plain and add 1 tbsp of flax. The result is quite a good pancake, which I spread with Joseph's Sugar Free Maple Syrup and this satisfies my need for pancakes. The texture is pretty good and the taste is great.
pretty goodby Donna on 8/18/2014I make the recipe just a little thinner for a crepe wrap a piece of lean ham or breakfast meat, satisfying!
Pancakesby Donna on 3/7/2013Ok. Definitely not the real thing. But when a person is trying to lose weight this does the trick.
It's changed!by Carole on 2/19/2012I loved these before you changed your packaging. Something is lacking in the product however. They used to taste good, but now I don't like them. They are too watery (even tho I measure exactly) they burn way too fast.....what happened???? (Updated on 2/20/2012.)
good with Walden Farms pancake syrupby Melissa on 9/27/2013These were pretty good, A little bland, but if you add Walden Farms pancake syrup you are nearly tricked into thinking you are getting the real deal. Moderately filling too. I would say this would go well with a couple of low carb, no sugar breakfast links (Applegate Farms makes links that are compatible with low carb, low fat, low sugar diet plans). I haven't tried this yet, but I have a recipe that suggests making the pancake, cutting into bits, adding prepared protein pudding in layers (they suggested chocolate and vanilla). You could then top with Walden Farms syrup of your choice and/or Walden Farms marshmellow topping.
ehhby JoAnne on 9/2/2017I bought this for the first time. Used it today. Not impressed. only makes 1-2 pancakes which is good for those only making for themselves. Didn't like the flavor Don't know if I will buy again.
didnt like the blueberryby mandym on 2/15/2009unfortunately i didnt care for the blueberry pancakes..too sweet with that funny artificial taste. i look forward to trying the natural flavor of these pancakes though.
Too Chewy!!by Rdmj on 10/21/2009These in no way compare to the wonderslim pancakes! Wonderslim pancakes are great! These are not! There is just something about chewy pancakes that don't appeal to me.
Did not like these at all.by Catness on 9/22/2009Maybe I overcooked the mix or something, but I thought these pancakes came out tough and chewy with an odd sheen to them, and - texture aside - were not pleasant tasting at all. They sucked up maple syrup like a sponge, but yet the syrup seemed to disappear into them and I couldn't detect any maple flavor! The pancakes were quite dry and a challenge to cut with a fork. I added fresh raspberries on top, and not even that could help the taste. I was disappointed and surprised because I usually enjoy most protein-enhanced products. I would not buy these again.
Big "whey protein" tasteby Ann Marie on 9/3/2009I ordered these and tried them with both milk and water. They have an overpowering whey protein taste. I would not order these again.
These taste badby Janet on 5/15/2008OMG...these things are disgusting. They taste like egg whites. Not even syrup & butter could disguise these things. I threw them in the trash, save your $.
Too sweetby Bonita on 2/19/2008These are awful! They cook up beautifully; but taste horrible. They are very sweet, and have an overwhelming aftertaste of Saccharin.
