This cherry chewable has a good taste and texture. Much like a large, soft Sweet-tart. I have Osteoporosis and a neuropathy that makes swallowing the large pills difficult. Now I just take one in the morning when I get up and place two more in a small plastic bag in my pocket to pop in my mouth later in the day. I am over 50 and needed calcium supplements before surgery, but after lap band could not swallow the others. My bone scanned are improving with age. The taste is not bad and they remind me a little of a TUMS antacid. A little chalky but somewhat like a breath mint. I don't think I will make these my regular method of taking calcium but may switch these on and off with pills. Fabulousby Jenn from Oregon on 5/5/2010 I ordered the Cherry and Cinnamon. They are not lozenges like you would think of- they aren't like cough drops or candies. They are powdered and compacted. The cherry is ok, kinda like a sweet-tart. The cinnamon is out of this world delicious. It tastes like Big Red gum. It leaves a little residue after eating which is a little gritty, but not like any other chewable where you feel like you just ate sand. I am 8 months out and have had major trouble complying with my calcium requirements, but the BA Cinnamon chewable is so good I actually crave it and look forward to it.
