Not great, not horrible just lacking. The texture was very heavy and dense so if you like a more cake like brownie this is not for you. They even top some of the bakery bought brownies I've had. I like them because they pack a lot of flavor and they are rich and filling. My craving for something rich and sweet is satisfied in just a couple of bites. One brownie (they are pretty big) lasts a couple of days for me. These are definitely on the fudgy side. Very weighty, dense, and soft. Considering all the protein, it isn't so bad that they do pack a good wallop of calories (which is why I eat only half at a time).
