The texture was also weird and definitely not thick like I expected. I normally buy the Smucker's Natural peanut butter, which has no added sugar and very little salt (they also make salt-free, but I've never had that.) I'll stick to the Smucker's. The only problem was that it was packed funny, upside down and somehow it must of gotten tossed around in shipping and some of the oil leaked out.
