Pro-stat 101

My 96 year old mother developed bedsores in the hospital. The hospital said to use pro-stat 64. It worked very well. She later developed another breakdown in her skin. I restarted with pro-stat 101, she's very thin and can use the calories, and she again healed very quickly. She doesn't like it mixed with water but prefers just to drink it in a little measure and she likes it that way.

5/18/2011I ordered this product to help me get extra protein to help heal a wound. I was attracted to 2 Tbsp for 15 grams of protein as I could not tolerate the powdered whey protein mixes in 8 oz of water. I ordered the regular flavor, other reviewers had said the punch flavor was intolerable. I find this flavor barely tolerable. But, I just make sure I have something to eat nearby to get the taste out of my mouth and it's OK. Can't comment on effectiveness yet, but it's a manageable way for me to get extra protein and other nutrition boosts in 2 Tbsp's.

4/21/2009I have been using the Pro stat 101 for months and I have seen remarkable results. My Mother is bed bound and developed a Pressure Sore. It had progressed to the point the Dr. could not give me any hope of survival. I increasde her Protein, Calcium, Zinc and she is almost healed.
Without the Pro stat 101 she would probably still have a deep hole with no hope. I highly reccommend this product for any one who needs that little extra protein in their diet. It works.
