I agree with the other viewers, it does clump, but I love the taste and the "filling effect" so I will overlook the inconvenience of clumping. Nectar is my favorite for several reasons, the biggest of which is the wide variety of flavors. Roadside Lemonade is my favorite. I mix it with about 6 ounces of water and really like the tart taste. I also like that it has zero carbs. My only beef with this powder is that it mixes a little clumpy in my shaker bottle on the way out the door from the gym. Add a little rum extract & nutmeg and you get the taste of eggnog, just like from the dairy dept. of the grocery store, but without the fat and carbs. I find I need a little increase in flavor so I add Crystal Light or another zero sugar, low calorie drink mix to it for increased flavor. I have to use extra scoops of the chocolate truffle to get the strength of flavoring that I like, but the products have served me well. I would like to see the flavors intensified a little more. the addition of a little more color perhaps. I add the sunrise orange by Crystal light to Fuzzy Navel, and no one knows any difference other than they think I am drinking orange juice. this is great because I really do not want to advertise that I have had surgery. I love love love the fuzzy navel! I just mix one whole scoop with 8oz of water and its fantastic! FYI - I tried mixing it with 16oz of water and I thought it tasted horrible. It had a medicine taste to it. YUK! The Choc truffle, I've only tried with 8oz of milk so far. Its ok, but I like the fuzzy navel way better. I'm thinking of trying it with water to see if I like it any better. I’m definitely going to try other flavors when these 2 are gone! They are very easy to digest; I’m a GB patient, and mix very well! It mixed well (I use the paste trick- make a thick paste with the powder then gradually add more liquid to get the right consistency) with no lumps. It was very sweet, I usually have to add extra sweetener to my shakes, but not with this one. I bet it would be amazing with some lo-carb milk! I started with Fuzzy Navel and now have Strawberry Kiwi. Since I have a lactose intolerance this protein is for me it mixes wonderful with cold water and my shaker cup. Love it. Fuzzy navalby from on 4/24/2011 Great stuff. Makes taking protein shakes easy. Mixes really well. I usually leave it sit for a few minutes before I drink it and keep stirring it. It blends instantly and is just delicious. My favorite next to twisted cherry. I like that one in the summertime. Chocolate Truffle takes care of my chocolate craving and gives me up to 23 grams of protein depending on how much I use. I really like it with lite vanilla soy milk. 8th Continent is my favorite brand and its only 60 calories so blended with this luscious chocolate truffle protein powder is a chocolate dream come true!!! My nutritionist sent us to a health store and he let us pick out 12 different sample packs, which I thought was great. The first I tried was the chocolate, UGH!!!, I used water.. after that, I started trying the fruits..UGH! This morning, I had another chocolate only this time we used skim milk and it was simply delicious. I think if I hadn't known it had the whey in it, I would have thought it was chocolate milk. If you haven't tried the chocolate tuffle in milk, you should, it is wonderful. I had made the statement that if I had known these drinks were this bad I wouldn't have come as far as I had because I was holding my nose drinking them as fast as I could. I generally purchase through another retailer, protein shakes, but nothing will beat the taste. I purchased the Chocolate Truffle. The protein count is higher than the product I was using and was cheaper than the $59.99 priced shake. I recommend this as supplement, as i have seen it perform very well form me in the GYM. I am gravitating to the ones that are good in water as it makes it much easier to mix at the gym after a workout. I too found the lemonade awful. We enjoy them all in milk (or even almond milk) and the Fuzzy Navel and Twisted Cherry are even good in just water! I like to add those two to my tea also-they make great flavored tea! Your prices and customer service are above the mark! I'm 10 years post GB surgery and have maintained my original 120# weight loss. It has been a struggle but now it is time to implement my next phase. Lose the final 40#. I'm choosing to do it the best way that works for me. Moderate exercise 3-4x per week. Complex carbs, good fats (20% of my total calorie intake for energy and satiety), 35 gms of fiber daily and lean, bioavailable protein. I try to consume 1200 - 1400 cals daily eating 5 -6 small meals. It IS working!! I'm averaging a healthy 2-3# per week weight loss!!! I needed a non fruit juice hi pro drink that I could take my supplements with that would mimic juice. Hence Syntrax Nectar. My first flavor was Roadside Lemonade. I made it as directed but found the aftertaste and citric flavor unappealing. The product is very easy to mix and especially easy to make a slushy with it. I'm NOT giving up on the product yet!! My hubby likes this flavor so he's finishing it up. I'm going to try another... Now the BIG question...what new flavor to try this time??? At this point I would not recommend it to my friends but I'm very hopeful I'll find MY fav flavor and be able to do so very soon. DietDirect folks, please consider a third bullet option beside Yes or No recommendation to my friends.
