I have used other blender-type bottles, and none compare to this one. There is no leaking, and it thoroughly mixes up the shakes. It is also easy to clean, which is important since I use it at work. They are so handy I even use it to blend thickeners for soups, stews and gravies. Love the 28 ounce so much I just bought 4 more and several of my friends have purchased their own after seeing mine. This is the BEST shake mixer I have ever used. The metal shaker ball mixes the protein powder and the liquid in no time flat and there is never any dry powder stuck to the lid of the shaker. I bought one for my husband too and he loves his also. It is simple to use and super easy to clean. I got the tall size so I can mix enough protein drink for my breakfast and lunch. I will definitely recommend this shaker to anyone!!! The powder sticks to the bottom of cups and it's harder just to use a spoon, the blender bottle makes these shake a real 1-2-3 go kinda thing. Especially in the morning when I'm on my way to work. I mix wonderslim pudding/shakes in it mostly, but the rest of my family loves to mix Gatorade and yogurt smoothies with it. The only problem we have is having to hand wash it because it gets used more often than the dishwasher gets run. I am ordering one per family member now. There is nothing better for mixing your protein shakes, and this is much more convenient than dragging out a blender. I always had a hard time drinking the shakes without using the "bullet" because I needed it to be blended really well. I found these shakers and thought I'd try it!!! AMAZING...you'd never know it was a POWDER mix...that round whisk blends it up leaving NO chunks....I would recommend it to ANYONE!!!! It's an item to BUY ... I will be purchasing a couple more! Well worth the money (and it's not that expensive), does the job well, highly recommended! Love the little whisk ballby NPDPM from Philadelphia on 3/2/2010 I actually have the shorter version of this, I think it holds 12 or 16 ozs instead of the 28 here, but it's the same shaker otherwise. Actually, I have three of these. Two are this exact brand, but I like said they are smaller. Picked them up at a national vitamin store that has gold cards- we all know the one. They were a gold card special for buying another product, and if I got one at something like a couple of bucks, the other was free. Thought, hey why not? The other one came with an intro package from the OTHER diet drink company. Theirs is the same concept as this- but not this brand. And it sucks terribly. But these are great! The only thing I have to say is that it's imperative that you rinse your shaker/ball/lid (or wash if you can) as soon as possible after you have your shake. The ball and crevices in the lid/shaker bottle tend to accumulate shake debris if not. I haven't tried it to blend soups and puddings because until I came here and read it from others the thought never occurred to me. I have used it to blend shakes and the hot drinks (be sure to vent the lid right away after a few shakes- hot liquids build up steam/pressure and the lid might pop open on you unexpectedly if you don't) and it works like a charm for those things. I haven't tried it with the puddings yet, I would like too but I'm afraid I will loose too much of my pudding if it sticks to the blender ball.
