If you are attempting to lose weight there are variety of techniques you can use to not only increase your chances of success, but make you feel great and increase your levels of self esteem. However there is more to it than just losing weight. I cannot tell you how many instances people have lost the weight they set out lose, only to gain it back. Once you lose the weight, you have to have the mindset to keep that weight from coming back. There are many different options and techniques we can use to achieve our goals. We have made a list of what seems to work for everyone. Don't expect to lose all your weight in a matter of weeks. Remember you probably did not gain all the weight you wanted to lose it that amount of time. So without further adieu here are a few rules that if you follow may ensure weight loss, and get you one step closer to achieving you goals. Remember this list will only cover what you probably should, eat and does not include any exercise or weightlifting tips. 1) Lets start out by examining the food in your apartment or house. There is a list of ingredients that you should absolutely stay aware from. Partially hydrogenated oils and high fructose corn syrup should be avoided at all costs. The only thing these ingredients will do for you is prevent you from reaching your goals. Throw away all these foods that contain these items. You will see a pattern that these ingredients are usually in backed snacks, cereals, chips, and other foods that we usually store in our cabinets. The other ingredient that we should try to avoid is anything that is "enriched". What we are looking for is "unbleached" or "whole" grains etc. We are trying to avoid foods that are high in sugar or are fried. 2) It is easier to say what you should avoid eating than what you can eat. Pretty soon you will know what foods fall into the category of what you should avoid. Things like whole grains, fish, lean meats, low fat cheese and fruits and vegetables of course are items we should include in our diet. 3) Many times we hear we should be eating 5 or 6 small meals a day. If you are like me you don't have time for this. The whole key is not to snack. Sit down and make sure you have at least 2 meals a day. If you start snacking in between meals, you can add hundreds and hundreds of calories you are not aware of. If you don't eat breakfast don't start. If you always eat breakfast then continue. 4) Limit the amount of times you eat out at restaurants. Restaurants in the United States usually serve more than what is necessary in terms of calories. It is also hard to discern what exactly is going into the foods you are putting in your body. Knowing what you are eating is extremely important. 5) Stop eating after 8pm. Our metabolism slows down at night in preparation for sleep. If you go to bed on a full stomach in your Spring Texas apartments you are only hurting yourself.
