Ageless Life - Create It


When you take care of yourself you can cultivate a deeper bond between your body and your spirit. A relaxed body devoid of stress can allow you to access your peace of mind and serenity. Such as simple acts of healthy eating, resting, exercising and rejuvenating your mind and soul.

Your mind, body and spirit are all you truly have in your life that is of real value. Oh, yeah-you have a lot of stuff-car, house, boat, vacations, clothes, jewelry and the list goes on. But, without a healthy mind, body and spirit, what do you really have? Only you can answer that question.

Advertisements for this potion or that pill to promote 'reversing the aging process' bombard us everyday. However, if you take good care of your mind, body and spirit the aging process moves at a slower rate, thus pills and potions to reverse aging is unnecessary-if they worked, which has not been proven. The truth is when people over 100 years are asked what they attribute their longevity to, no one says, "I took the 'reverse aging pills.'" They talk about having peace of mind and a healthy diet. While George Burns lived to 100 and smoked cigars for 80 years, he is an exception to the facts.

It is important to make taking care of your mind, body and spirit a priority in your life. In order to be healthy in mind, body and spirit you need to put a plan in place. Consider the following:

? Do something everyday to give yourself emotional pleasure that is also healing and revitalizes you.

? Do something everyday to nurture your soul-meditating, visualizing a stress free day, counting your blessings, count what you are grateful for.

? Treat yourself to a relaxing healthy dinner at least once a month. With a fast paced hectic life that the majority of people live, it is important to treat yourself to a special relaxing experience. You can include this as part of socializing.

? Have a massage at least once-a-month - As you relax into the massage be aware of your body's response to being pampered. You might feel an overwhelming sensation of total calm and wellbeing that engulfs you. Taking delight in your body invigorates your spirit-breathe into this joyous feeling.

? Attend a yoga class once a week or twice a month

? Exercise 2 - 3 times a week: Cardio and muscle strengthening.

? Go for a walk in nature - nature is a natural connection to the universal rejuvenating energies

? Spend time near water as often as possible - a water fall in your back yard, a manmade pond, stream, creek, ocean, river or lake- Or have water fountains in your home. I have three in my home/office.

? There is a long list of ways to take good care of your mind, body, spirit. Create ways for your uniqueness.

? Last, but not least, remember to savor the wonder of who you truly are-allow your happiness to permeate all aspects of your life.

The wonders of a healthy mind, body and spirit will create the joy to carry you into the grandest life ever.
