There are many weight loss programs available on the market today that have many claims, but do they work and can you actually lose a pound a day without jeopardizing your health? Studies show that in order to lose that much weight in as many days, you must eliminate 3500 calories each day. However, doing this can have adverse health effects and you don't want to trade good health for a trimmer waist line. Some people have been known to drop it down to 1200 calories per day intake with no negative side effects, but this is something you should consult a Doctor about and make sure you are getting the nutrition you need and you're not causing any damage to your health.
