Is Burning 10 Pounds in 10 Days Possible?


There are many weight loss programs available on the market today that have many claims, but do they work and can you actually lose a pound a day without jeopardizing your health? Studies show that in order to lose that much weight in as many days, you must eliminate 3500 calories each day. However, doing this can have adverse health effects and you don't want to trade good health for a trimmer waist line. While it takes that many calories to lose that much weight, it is also recommended to take in at least 1500 calories per day to keep your metabolism in check.

Some people have been known to drop it down to 1200 calories per day intake with no negative side effects, but this is something you should consult a Doctor about and make sure you are getting the nutrition you need and you're not causing any damage to your health.

When trying to lose weight and being on a fast track, you need to know how your body burns calories. It is possible to lose weight by just eating less, but if your plan is to drop the pounds in a short time, such as ten pounds in ten days, it's going to take a lot of the necessary nutrients out of your daily diet that's needed to stay healthy in the process. It is best if you have a solid plan and combine exercise along with your smaller calorie intake.

In order to set yourself up for success, you will need to figure out the best way to count the calories you consume for each meal. This can be time consuming, but if you're serious about losing that amount of weight in a short period of time, it will take more effort on your part than just eating less.

Here is a simple plan you can use to help you take off the desired pounds you strive to accomplish.

1. Start a journal to keep track of the things you need to do each day and be diligent in using it every day.
2. Plan your menu and look at the packaging labels for calorie amount. If you can't figure the labeling out, there are tools and calorie charts online you can use to help you out.
3. Find the right vitamin supplements you can add to your diet to make sure you are getting the proper amount of nutrition your body needs to stray healthy.
4. Begin a moderate exercise program that will help burn calories to speed up the weight loss and stick to it.

Losing weight is not easy, but in order to be successful and stay healthy in the process, you need to have a combination of things in place to help you succeed. These include, less calorie intake, proper nutrition with the right foods and vitamins, and an exercise program. Don't expect a miracle pill to do all the work for you. It takes determination and effort on your part.

Sure, it is possible to lose 10 pounds in 10 days, but to be successful and stay healthy, you must be diligent, determined and write out your daily plan in your journal and stick to it. Your success depends on no one but you.
