Lose More Weight by Eating More


Some of the best weight loss programs are the ones that instruct a person to eat more during the day. Some people may find it impossible to believe but if you eat many times a day, you keep your metabolism rate high. People wrongly believe that skipping a meal or two may get them to lose weight fast. This is not true and that's the reason why not many nutritionists preach this method.

There's a special diet known as the "Six Meals Plan" and as the name suggests you have to eat six times a day. Before you start following the diet plan you need to make up your mind that you are going to change your eating habits. This would require much effort from you in the form of persistence and discipline. You will need to determine your calorie intake, this will be based on age, gender, height, weight and physical activities. The calorie consumption on an average should be 1200 for a woman and 1800 for a man.

The six meal diet plan goes like this: breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner and snack. You may be used to three huge meals throughout the day believing that this way you would get energy for the whole day. If you eat six balanced meals during the day with a gap of 2-3 hours between them you won't feel hungry but much healthier. You will feel much fuller and thus have no appetite, eat less and lose weight.

In case of three meals diet, the gap between meals makes the sugar level plunge. Because of this you feel hungry and may eat unhealthy fattening foods. Your body gets to eat only three times a day so it gets into the habit of storing food that gets converted into fat. While the other way when you eat six well balanced meals then your sugar levels do not drop and you do not get the urge to binge. All you eat is a rich protein, fibre, and healthy carbohydrate diet that would keep up your energy throughout the day.

Your body does not have to store food because it knows that it will be fed in every two to three hours, and so you don't put on weight. There are other weight loss meal plans, you can consider but the method makes the target easily achievable. Thus, heeding the above tips will help you and benefit you the most.
