The Wrong Diet Plans To Lose Weight Will Sabotage Your Metabolism!


There are two major steps to fad dieting. The first step is to drastically cut back on your intake of calories (food) and the second step is to never EVER eat anything you will enjoy. If you are using a diet plan that mainly focuses on restricting calories, you are preventing your metabolism from burning calories and are causing many other obstacles to your weight loss.

It's Hard to Follow Bad Diets Because They Don't Work!

If you're on the verge of passing out from hunger, there's nothing else that would feel worse as you gorge down a bacon cheeseburger and pint of chocolate ice cream than the thought that if only you were a stronger person, you could control your appetite. However, chances are you aren't the problem at all. Restricting your calories will lower your metabolism and decrease your ability to burn fat.

Your Metabolism Needs Calories!

Believe it or not, the key to a successful weight loss regime is eating, that is as long as you eat the right foods! The reason why calorie restriction doesn't work is though it restricts salt, sugar and bad fats, it also restricts nutritious things like protein, vitamins, minerals, good fats and complex carbohydrates.

Whenever you cut calories, whether it is because you're overeating or eating the wrong types of foods, your body will think it is facing starvation and starts to hoard calories, especially those that convert to fat.
So if you want to reduce your calorie intake, what you need to do is eat healthy foods that will not be stored as fat. In other words, you need foods that will keep your metabolism functioning at its maximum level.

Healthy Foods Burn Fat!

Eating lean protein such as lean meat, nuts or beans will provide you with energy. It will also assist in building muscles and burn more calories and fat. In addition, it will keep your metabolism working at its strongest. This also applies to other healthy foods.

Diets that restrict fruits and vegetables will do nothing positive for your body. The vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, calcium and vegetable protein these foods provide are all things that our bodies need for the energy they provide which promotes general physical health, healthy brain function etc.

If you eat these foods in the correct amounts and proportions they will keep your metabolism working at its best which will not only help to burn fat but will keep you feeling physically and mentally fit.
